Good design thinking is portable. Platform doesn't matter.
Why Google Design
[design.google.com](https://design.google.com) is one of the more honest places on the internet for design practitioners. Not because Google gets everything right, but because they publish their reasoning — process articles, case studies, and methodology write-ups that show the work behind the work.

What it covers
Material Design principles. Typography at scale. Motion and meaning. Design systems thinking. Accessibility. The kind of rigorous, applied thinking that comes from designing products used by billions of people across thousands of device types.
It's a different design problem than most practitioners face — but the discipline transfers.
Why this is here
I document things that shape how I think. Google Design has been a consistent reference since 2015 — not for copying solutions, but for borrowing frameworks. That distinction matters.
