Altibox — Provisioning
Internal customer provisioning system for Altibox/Lyse Tele — configuring products and hardware across the organization.

The tools that run a business are rarely the ones anyone thinks to design well.
The brief
Altibox needed an internal system for customer provisioning — the process of configuring products and hardware when a customer signs up or changes their service. This was a critical operational tool used daily by the organization's internal teams.

The work
Role: UI/UX Designer, Developer, System Engineer.
Designed and contributed to the development of the user interface from the ground up. The system handled customer lookup, product configuration, and hardware assignment — the kind of dense, data-heavy internal tooling that is easy to build wrong and genuinely hard to build right.
Why this matters
This is where the instinct for operational UX came from. Designing for internal users — people who use a tool eight hours a day, under pressure, without a manual — demands a different kind of rigour than consumer product work. Efficiency over delight. Clarity over novelty. Every unnecessary click is a real cost.
The provisioning system remained in active use for years. That is the metric that counts.
